77% of Lakerholicz.com readers would like the Lakers to sign Lamar Odom

On Tuesday, a report surfaced claiming that Lamar Odom met with the Los Angeles Lakers about a possible return to the franchise. Ramona Shelburne from ESPN Los Angeles later confirmed the rendezvous, yet the meeting was for personal reasons – not business – according to Shelburne.

Nevertheless, a large portion of Laker fans are still hoping for the purple and gold to sign their former Sixth Man of the Year.

According to a poll by Lakerholicz.com, 77 percent of our readers would like the Lakers to sign Odom. 16 percent didn’t want to see the return of the two-time champion, while a further 8 percent weren’t sure.

Odom has struggled to regain form on the court after being traded by the Lakers in 2011. He was dealt to the Dallas Mavericks after the failed Chris Paul trade, and then ended up back with the Los Angeles Clippers last year. Now a free agent with a boatload of off-the-court issues, Odom is reportedly looking to get back into the NBA.

However, it doesn’t appear that a reunion with his old team is on the cards at this moment in time.
