Lakers' Bryant fights for a rebound with Raptors' DeRozan during their NBA basketball game in Los Angeles

While we may sadly never see Kobe Bryant wearing his signature shoes on the world stage again, the good news is that other NBA players will continue to play for Team USA while sporting the Black Mamba’s Nike kicks for many years to come.

DeMar DeRozan has been one of the players in the NBA to consistently wear Kobe’s kicks over the years, and the Toronto Raptors guard is doing the same right now with Team USA in Las Vegas.

In a photo shared by the NBA’s official Twitter account, we get a sneak peek at DeRozan’s red, white and blue Nike Kobe 9 shoes. They’re pretty nice, to say the least.

If you didn’t already know, DeRozan is a big Kobe fan and even wears number 10 to pay homage to Bryant’s Team USA days.

The 24-year-old first played against Bryant when he was just 15, though that didn’t stop the five-time NBA champion from talking a little trash to the high school kid.

Classic Kobe.
