UPDATE: Dwight says he’s not playing tonight, per Mike Bresnahan.
Dwight Howard last played for the Lakers almost a week ago in a loss versus the Phoenix Suns. He re-aggrevated the torn labrum in his right shoulder in the fourth quarter of that game and hasn’t returned since.
He flew back to Los Angeles last week to get PRP treatment, though the effects of it are apparently yet to be felt by Howard.
And, according to head coach Mike D’Antoni, it doesn’t look like Dwight will be playing versus the Brooklyn Nets tonight:
Dwight Howard is “probably not going to play,” tonight vs. Brooklyn, Lakers Coach Mike D’Antoni said.

With Howard out, Pau Gasol will once again start at center for the Lakers, who are currently 2-1 on their annual Grammys road trip.
