Gasol and Nash to suit up Thursday in Vegas; Farmar and Johnson still out

Fans of the Lakers in Las Vegas will get the chance to see Pau Gasol and Steve Nash in action, but it doesn’t appear that they’ll get a chance to check out new Laker Wesley Johnson and the return of Jordan Farmar.

During his post-practice meeting with the media on Wednesday, head coach Mike D’Antoni confirmed that Gasol and Nash would play tomorrow and would be in the line-up for the remainder of the pre-season – barring any unforeseen circumstances, of course.

Farmar and Johnson will miss another game but should be back in action once the team heads out to China later this week, according to Mike Trudell:

D’Antoni also told reporters that Steve Blake will play about 24 minutes per game, splitting the 48 with Nash.

The Lakers play at 7:00pm at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Thursday.
