Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers should be excited about this kid.
Shortly after officially signing his two-year contract with the purple and gold earlier this week, rookie Jordan Clarkson took to the Lakers’ practice court in El Segundo in order to work on his game.
It was only a matter of time before the Lakers signed Clarkson, 22, seeing as they paid $1.8 million to acquire him from the Washington Wizards on draft night. The Missouri product would then go on to average 15.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game at the Las Vegas Summer League last month. The 46th pick also shot 42.1 percent from three-point range during the showcase in Sin City.
In a Vine video shared by the Lakers’ official Twitter account, Clarkson can be seen working on his all-around game as he hits shots from the outside while also showing off his floater in the lane. The clip then ends with Clarkson showing off his athleticism with a nice slam.
This guy is definitely one to watch.
