Kings “Trying To Land” D’Angelo Russell From Lakers

Marc Stein from ESPN reports that the Sacramento Kings are trying to land D’Angelo Russell

The Sacramento Kings want D’Angelo Russell.

According to a tweet by Marc Stein from ESPN, the Kings have been engaged in trade talks all week, and are trying to land Russell from the Lakers.

It’s unclear what exactly the Kings are offering the Lakers in exchange for Russell.

You would imagine it would take a lot for the Lakers to part ways with Russell, whom they selected with the second overall pick last year.

Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak also told Russell earlier this week that he should pay no attention to rumors surrounding his future in Los Angeles.

However, as we know by now, anything can happen in the NBA at any time, so stay tuned.
