VIDEO: Kobe Bryant registers 40 points, 8 assists, 8 rebounds in Game 1 of 2009 NBA Finals

Thanks to GD x Dawk Ins, we’re able to step back in time and take another look at the Black Mamba’s dominating performance in Game One of the 2009 NBA Finals versus the Orlando Magic.

In 38 minutes of playing time, Bryant put together an amazing stat line of 40 points, 8 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

The Lakers went on to win the game 100-75.

Bryant would be spectacular for the rest of the series, too, leading the Lakers to a 4-1 series win and their first NBA championship in seven years.
