VIDEO: Kobe Bryant’s first points of the preseason were beautiful

Man, it’s nice to have Kobe Bryant back on the basketball court.

In his first competitive game in around 10 months, Bryant looked pretty damn good on Monday night as the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Denver Nuggets to get their 2014 preseason schedule underway.

In 21 minutes of play, Bryant registered 13 points, 5 assists and 2 rebounds in a win, and while his first shot of the night may have been an air ball (a few first night jitters, maybe?) his next couple of shots were vintage Kobe.

First from the right, and then the left, Bryant delivered a couple of slick turnaround fadeaways from the baseline, and made sure to use put that cheetah tail to good use, too.

Welcome back, Mamba! Here’s hoping for a long and healthy season.
