Wait, I thought he didn’t pass? Well, it seems he does. And quite a lot, actually.
On Sunday afternoon versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kobe Bryant recorded 14 assists – his second straight game reaching that total – and in the process, blew by Michael Jordan for 36th on the NBA’s all-time assists list.
Jordan and his 5633 dimes have been bumped down to 37 on the list, as Kobe draws closer towards catching Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who’s 5660 career assists have him at 35th all-time.
How much longer will The Cap be holding that place, though? If Bryant keeps this up, not for long at all.
The most assists Kobe ever recorded in a season was 481 in 2002-03.
