team up with News Genius, analyze Lakers’ off-season moves

If you’re a fan of rap music, you’re probably a fan of Rap Genius. We’re fans, too, so when RG reached out to us and asked if we’d be interested in teaming up with them and helping out with some of the Lakers content on their News Genius site, we jumped at the opportunity.

The first post we’ve collaborated on is focussed on the Lakers’ off-season moves; each transaction has been listed, and a few of them have been analyzed by – we decided to talk about the return of Jordan Farmar, along with the calculated risk the purple and gold took by drafting Ryan Kelly┬áin the second-round of this year’s draft, and why the team took a chance on Wesley Johnson, even though his career so far has been labelled as a “bust”.

If you think you know a thing or two about the Lakers, too, feel free to head over to the post so you can annotate a few of the Lakers’ moves.
