When it rains, it pours.
The Lakers announced today that Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Jordan Hill will all miss tomorrow night’s game versus the Houston Rockets and beyond.
Firstly, Dwight is out after an MRI discovered a labrum tear. However, Ramona Shelburne says it’s more of a precautionary measure:
Two sources tell ESPNLA that Lakers are cautiously optimistic about Howard’s injury. Sitting him is more “precautionary.”

Secondly, there’s Pau: he was diagnosed with a concussion after getting hit on the nose near the end of last night’s game versus Denver. He’ll be out at least two days:
Pau Gasol (concussion) will miss 2 games & see how he feels. Hill inconclusive, further tests on his hip coming. Howard out minimum 1 week.

The Lakers now have am extremely thin front court – guys like Robert Sacre, Metta World Peace, Antawn Jamison, Earl Clark and Devin Ebanks will be called upon to try and fill the void.
