UPDATE: Harris’ contract has a team option in the second year, per Mark Medina.
Undrafted rookie Elias Harris has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:
Forward Elias Harris has agreed to a two year deal with Lakers, agent Brad Ames tells Y! Deal includes "significant" guarantee in 1st year.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 26, 2013
The 24-year-old Harris was a member of the Lakers’ Summer League team in Las Vegas earlier this month. He scored 17 points in the Lakers’ final game last Saturday.
The 6’8″ Harris can play both the small forward and power forward position, plus he has the ability to shoot the ball from outside, though his percentages in Vegas didn’t really show that. In 27 minutes per game in Sin City, Harris had averages of 10.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per outing.
