It appears that the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a deal with their Summer League standout, Marcus Landry.
Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles reports that Landry has a deal with the Lakers that has a “small guarantee” which is different to your regular camp invite who will usually sign a non-guranteed contract. This is likely because Landry was drawing interest from other teams, coupled with the fact that Mike D’Antoni and the Lakers like the 27-year-old.
Landry also hinted earlier today that he had come to some sort of agreement with the purple and gold:
Landry averaged 15.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 37% from three earlier this month in Las Vegas.
