Lakers sign Jordan Clarkson to two-year deal

The Los Angeles Lakers have finally signed Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson, who was selected on behalf of the Lakers by the Washington Wizards with the 46th pick on draft night, has signed a two-year deal with the purple and gold, according to Basketball Insiders. The first year guaranteed for $507,336, while the second year is for $845,059 and is non-guaranteed. The team will hold a qualifying offer worth $1,180,431 for the third year.

Clarkson was impressive during the Las Vegas Summer League as the 22-year-old averaged 15.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 42.1 percent from three-point range.
