Metta World Peace started the last game versus the Clippers after Mike D’Antoni went on a mini-experiment that wasn’t all that successful. While Darius Morris did bring speed and defense to the starting line-up, the team still struggled to get going at times.
Therefore, D’Antoni says he’s going to start MWP from now on with an aim of getting off to better starts in games:

Also, Kobe came to the defense of Pau Gasol after he had one of the worst games of his Laker career on Friday night. After scoring just 2 points on 1-for-6 shooting and 2 assists of 27 minutes of play, Bryant said he’d talk to D’Antoni the next day at practice. Here’s what Kobe said to Mike:
Kobe’s message to D’Antoni today: “The ball should be in Steve’s hands and Pau’s hands.”

Kobe: “When you have the two best passers at his respective positions, they need to be the guys that have the ball the majority of the time”
