Michael Cooper: “His name is not Dwight Howard, it’s Dwight Coward because he ran from Los Angeles” [VIDEO]

Michael Cooper keeps it real.

During a game preview on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Coop couldn’t help but call the Houston Rockets’ new big man “Dwight Coward” in reference to him leaving Los Angeles this past summer.

Cooper, who was the last member of the Los Angeles Lakers to win the Defensive Player of the Year award back in 1987, is not the first public figure to call Howard the “C” word since he bolted from L.A. – Cali rapper Ice Cube also went on a profanity-filled rant about D12 shortly after he decided to sign with the Rockets in July.

In the video below, Cooper also questions Howard’s offensive skill-set and predicts that the Lakers will beat the Rockets when they face them for the first time on Thursday night down in Houston.
