Wesley Johnson is day-to-day after an MRI revealed a strain in his left foot, according to Lakers.com:
[pullquote]Lakers forward Wesley Johnson, who injured his left foot in last night’s game against the Denver Nuggets, had an MRI exam today. Results showed that Johnson has a strained tendon.
His status is day-to-day.[/pullquote]
While Johnson has yet to make an impression on team during the first two pre-season games (although, he was limited in last night’s contest due to the injury) his contract with the Lakers is guaranteed, so his spot on the opening night roster is likely safe.
The team’s next game is Tuesday in Ontario, California, when the purple and gold take on the Denver Nuggets once again.
