Nick Young confirms robbery, says Red Octobers were stolen, “I’m shocked they tried to get Swaggy”

Could someone really try to rob someone’s house in order to get their hands on a $6,000 pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers? It seems so.

At today’s practice session, Nick Young confirmed that his home in Sherman Oaks was robbed during last night’s game against the Orlando Magic.

Young told reporters that around $100,000 worth of goods were stolen, including the Red Octobers that the L.A. native debuted at Staples Center on Friday night.

“They got me, man,” Young said, according to Dave McMenamin from ESPN Los Angeles. “They stole my Yeezys, too.”

Young posted a photo to his Instagram account of him wearing the highly sort after shoes on Saturday, while Lakers sideline reporter Mike Trudell mentioned the kicks on the air during last night’s game, too.

TMZ first reported the news of the break in on Monday. According to the report, Young got home around 11pm on Sunday night to discover that his upstairs window was broken. The news outlet say that Louboutin shoes, jewelry, clothes and Louis Vuitton luggage were among the items taken.

“I was just shocked they tried to get Swaggy,” Young said, per Mike Bresnahan from the L.A. Times.

So are we, Nick. So are we.
