Pau Gasol hopes to start running again on Thursday

Pau Gasol has been doing some minor on court work in recent days and has also been running on an elliptical machine, which reduces the pressure put on joints while the user runs on it.

However, according to Mark Medina, Gasol hopes to get medical clearance on Thursday when the Lakers return to Los Angeles and then being running. Pau told Medina that he’s feeling good:

“Things have been good,” Gasol said in a brief moment with this newspaper. “No pain, a little bit of stiffness.”

Gasol was injured back on February 5 versus the Brooklyn Nets. The Lakers are 7-5 without him.
