Pincus: Could the Lakers get Jose Calderon via Boris Diaw?

According to reports, the Bobcats are looking to move Boris Diaw and his $9 million expiring contract.

Eric Pincus speculates the idea of the Lakers taking on Diaw into the trade exception and then flipping him to Toronto with a first-round pick in exchange for talented point guard Jose Calderon.

The Lakers have apparently had interest in Calderon but currently do not possess the pieces to get him – maybe getting a third team involved is the answer?
