D’Antoni says Steve Nash is a game-time decision for tonight’s Game 3: “He feels a lot better & wants to see what the day brings.”— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) April 26, 2013
D’Antoni said that Darius Morris will be in the starting lineup, with Duhon or Goudelock at PG if Nash can’t go. Meeks still doubtful.— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) April 26, 2013
Steve Nash if he plays tonight "game time decision but doubtful more like it"— Beto Duran (@DuranSports) April 26, 2013
Hopefully, the Lakers can pull out a win tonight with a depleted squad and then bring Nash (and maybe Blake?) back for Game 4 on Sunday.
There also should be a boost for morale on the sidelines for the purple and gold: Kobe Bryant will be apparently be on the sidelines tonight, not back in the locker room as was previously expected, per Mark Medina:
Kobe Bryant was on crutches at the Lakers' practice facility. D'Antoni expects that he will be on the bench during Game 3 tonight— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) April 26, 2013
Pulling out a win tonight is vital, otherwise it’ll be an elimination game the rest of the way.
