Happy birthday, Steve Nash! You definitely didn’t look 40-years-old on this play.
Nash went with one of his vintage moves during the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night, as the Canadian broke Evan Turner’s ankles and finished the play with a nice layup.
Nick Young loved the move and jumped up off the bench despite being out with a fractured and bruised left knee. I guess the moment got to Nick and he just had to acknowledge Nash’s old man swag.
Remember, Nash is 15 years older than the 25-year-old Turner, so it had to feel good for the legendary point guard to pull off this move and get that kind of reaction from the crowd again after all the hard work he’s put in over the last few months.
