The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Lakers @ Blazers – 10/31/12

The Lakers are still winless in 2012-13 after a 116-106 loss in Portland tonight…

Dwight Howard looked much better tonight. He had 33 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. The best stat? 15-of-19 at the line. Such an improvement. He was killing the Blazers’ bigs all night long.

Offense wasn’t the problem for the Lakers, as they put up 106 points.

Steve Nash got injured in the second quarter. He tried to play in the second half, but called it a night when it was too painful. Let’s hope it isn’t too serious…

The Lakers had 24 turnovers tonight and the Blazers got 28 points from those turnovers. That’s the ball game right there.

The Lakers will have a tough game on Friday versus the Clippers as they look to get their first win. The game is at 7:30pm PST on ESPN.

Just a quick recap tonight as I’ve got to go catch a flight. This will be the last game day update for a couple of weeks, but normal service will be resumed after November 16.
