We’re proud of you, Jordan Clarkson.
After being taken with the 46th overall pick last June, the 22-year-old Clarkson has definitely made his mark in the NBA this season.
At first it was only really Laker fans who noticed the up-and-coming guard, though the Missouri product is now getting recognition on a national level after winning the Western Conference Rookie of the Month award last week.
Tonight, Clarkson was finally presented with his award before the Lakers’ game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Clarkson’s coach, Byron Scott, did the honors:
Clarkson well and truly deserved the award after averaging a team-high 15.8 points per game in March while shooting 45.2 percent from the field. The point guard also added 5.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 32.4 minutes per game.
