The following is a post from 2013.

On Thursday, Team USA’s brightest young stars gathered in Las Vegas and showcased their skills in an intra-squad scrimmage. Kyrie Irving led the way with 23 points and 7 assists, as his white team beat the blue, 128-106.

Back in 2007, it was Kobe Bryant‘s chance to show what he had, as the Redeem Team began to take shape in Sin City. Bryant would suit up for the blue team, while LeBron James would take the floor for the white team.

Bryant would end the night with 26 points, 5 assists and 5 steals, as well as hitting the game-winning shot. He did get blocked by LeBron a dunk attempt during the game (as shown in the footage below) but he ended the night one-up on James after The King – who was being guarded by Bryant – missed a potential game-winner of his own as the buzzer sounded.
