VIDEO: Nate Robinson showboats on the Lakers with three dunks late in the fourth

Nate-Robinson

This appears to be the start of a new trend.

During Sunday night’s blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets, Nate Robinson went on dunking spree late in the fourth quarter. He was hanging on the rim, staring at the crowd and just being a general showoff.

You can’t blame him though, the Nuggets – who had just snapped an eight-game losing streak – absolutely dismantled the Lakers, which is not something you get do to all that often. The Lakers are normally the ones handing out beatings – especially on their home court – so when they have down years, other teams are going to relish their misery.

A few games earlier against the Philadelphia 76ers, Evan Turner capped off a Sixers victory with a monster dunk before the end of regulation. Philadelphia have also struggled this season and enjoyed beating the Lakers on their home floor.

As we all know, the Lakers won’t be down for long, so other teams will take this rare opportunity to try and embarrass the purple and gold whenever they get the chance.
