Who thought Kendall Marshall would follow up his career-high night in his first start for the Lakers with even more career-highs in the next game?
Well, that’s exactly what Marshall did.
After dishing out 15 assists against the Utah Jazz, Marshall set another career-high against the Denver Nuggets with 17 dimes on Sunday night.
Marshall’s contract became guaranteed for the rest of the year today while Shawne Williams was the only Laker waived. It’ll be interesting to see how Marshall plays for the rest of the season and if he’ll be able to stay in the rotation even after the likes of Steve Blake, Jordan Farmar and Steve Nash return.
If he keeps on playing like this, there’s no way Mike D’Antoni can send him to the bench.
