From UCLA and USC to the Great Wall of China: Nick Young and Jordan Farmar go way back, and one reason they both signed with the Lakers this summer was to finally play with each other. The timing of this move meant that the pair would travel to China during this year’s pre-season as a part of the NBA’s Global Games. Swaggy P and Jordy traveling together? It definitely sounds like a fun time.
The videos below, posted by Farmar on his Instagram account, definitely confirm this.
In the hilarious videos, Young is attempting to record himself and Jordan (who is on the toboggan in front) as they slide down the Great Wall. Nick starts off pretty well.
“We’re going down a slide, y’all!” Young screams. He then begins to say where they are and lets a little bit of a swear word out as he proceeds to crash his toboggan:
Young has now gone silent and the video has stopped. Is he OK? Has he injured himself? (Note: Chris Kaman hurt his finger during his tobogganing session after Shawne Williams crashed into the back of him. Seriously.)
As Young resumes filming, it’s clear that he’s fine – thankfully – and he confirms what happened to him in the previous clip:
Conclusion: Nick Young is awesome.
