Nick Young was great against the Utah Jazz last night – until he fouled out mid-way through the fourth quarter, that is.
Despite having just 6 points at halftime, Young went on a tear in the third quarter and scored 13. He’d finish the game with 21 points, though the Lakers would end up losing on a put-back dunk by Derrick Favors.
If Young could’ve stayed on the floor and put up another 5 points or so, who knows how this one might’ve ended. You can tell that Young was frustrated all night long, though, as he felt he wasn’t getting calls from the refs while he racked up six fouls of his own in just 29 minutes.
Young is now averaging 18.4 points during the month of December.
