Wesley Johnson suffering from stomach bug; Nick Young to start versus Milwaukee

I know what you’re thinking: “Another injury report?!”

Wesley Johnson, who isn’t technically injured but is still under the weather with gastroenteritis, will likely still play tonight but will come off the bench.

Nick Young, who has averaged 17.8 points in 25 games off the bench, will start in Johnson’s place when the Lakers take on the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Lakers beat writer Dave McMenamin:

It’ll be interesting to see if Young is still as effective as a part of the first unit. I think he will be – he appears to have found the right way to play with this team over the last month or so.

As for Johnson, hopefully this sickness won’t linger for too long, though Chris Kaman suffered from the same illness after the team got back from China and was out of action for a good few games during the preseason.
