D’Angelo Russell After 27 Point Performance: “The World Hasn’t Seen Anything Yet”

From the moment he declared himself “the best player in the draft” during workouts last summer, D’Angelo Russell has made it very clear that he doesn’t lack in confidence.

And on Thursday night, after scoring 27 points in 29 minutes against the Sacramento Kings, Russell again assured us all that he’s ready for the limelight.

via Sam Amick of USA Today:

“Y’all ain’t seen nothing yet,” he said with a grin. “That’s all I’m going to say. … The world hasn’t seen anything yet.

“You gotta see. I know what I can do. Y’all just got to see. … I just know what I’m capable of. When I don’t do it, you can always throw the excuse, ‘You’re young. It’s a process.’ But I know what I can do, so just staying patient and keep putting in the hard work and keeping God first and the sky’s the limit.”
