David Aldridge: “Everyone” believes Paul George will join Lakers next summer

The longtime NBA reporter thinks Paul George’s stay in Oklahoma City will be a short one

We’ve heard it all before, and we’ll hear it all again.

According to longtime NBA reporter David Aldridge, “everyone” around the NBA believes that All-Star forward Paul George will become a Laker next summer.

Aldridge made the comments during an interview with NBA TV:

While we have heard this rumor for quite some time now, it is interesting to know that the belief that George will bolt for the Lakers next summer is still there despite the Oklahoma City Thunder landing Carmelo Anthony in a trade with the New York Knicks earlier this week.

There’s a long time to go before now and free agency in July 2018, though, and the NBA has been a crazy league when it comes to player movement recently, so literally anything can happen over the coming months.

Stay tuned.
