Yep, Ed Davis definitely needs more playing time.
Last night against the Houston Rockets, Davis recorded 6 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block in just 19 minutes of play. While the big man’s single block was below his season average of 1.5 per game, it was still a beauty.
As Joey Dorsey went up for the seemingly wide open score, Davis came over and blocked the shot against the glass.
That’s what you call rim protection.
