As we all know, Dwight Howard will become a free agent on July 1. And in L.A., we are no strangers to drama.
The Lakers face a potential Dwightmare this summer. However, I am still holding onto hope that there is no Dwightmare and he re-signs when given the chance on July 1.
Lakers’ superstar Kobe Bryant needs to speak to Dwight Howard and let him know that things like winning a championship don’t happen over night – they take a while. Do you want to be a Journeyman and move from team to team or do you want to find a home? The Lakers face many questions but one thing is clear: the Lakers organization want Dwight Howard to be the future of the franchise, though some people seem to think the lights of L.A. are too bright for Dwight Howard. I personally think he can be the face of the franchise and learn more from Kobe Bryant on how to be a great leader.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this all plays out but one thing is for certain: if Dwight Howard is smart he will listen to offers but at the end of the day, he’ll listen to the one person he really should be listening too; the man with 5 NBA championships – Kobe Bryant – and sign on the dotted line in El Segundo and accept the challenge. No more moving – stay in the City of Angels and call it your home.
Laker Nation wants Dwight Howard as a Laker. All the real fans want Dwight Howard to stay in L.A.
