This was the day that Dwight was traded to the Lakers. There were a few twists and turns – such as Pau not departing L.A. in the trade – but the day ended with Howard as a Laker.

3. Lakers’ new court design this season appears to draw inspiration from international soccer

As well as having a new look to start this season when it comes to the players, they also had a new look on the court, too. The actual court.

The Lakers’ home floor was redesigned to show off the team’s history, and their collection of championships, which seemed to draw inspiration for the world of international soccer.

2. Top 5 Kobe Bryant posterizing dunks

This was just one of many great Kobe posts by Deshaun Sheppard. He broke down Kobe’s top 5 in-you-face dunks, featuring slams on KG, LeBron and a couple of his current teammates.
