VIDEO: Julius Randle wows crowd with strong poster dunk, nifty reverse layup

Julius Rande looked pretty good during his NBA preseason debut on Monday night.

The rookie scored 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting, grabbed 8 rebounds and blocked one shot in 27 minutes of action, though his most impressive play of the night would come on his first made basket.

After receiving the pass from Wayne Ellington, Randle attacked the hoop with aggression and threw down a double-handed facial over Jusuf Nurkic. It should’ve been an and-one, too:

Then, a little later, Randle’s fellow rookie, Jordan Clarkson, fed the ball to the 19-year-old who then blew past his defender, went baseline and finished the move with a nifty little reverse layup:

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the future.
