Kobe Bryant poised to pass Wilt Chamberlain on all-time scoring list tonight

Despite a bone spur in his left foot and a plethora of other ailments, Kobe Bryant is set to play tonight and has Wilt Chamberlain‘s spot on the all-time scoring list in his sights.

Bryant is currently at 31,415 points in the all-time list, while Chamberlain is at 31,419, therefore just 5 points will move Kobe ahead of the Big Dipper.

It is unclear how many minutes Bryant will play tonight, with him posting on his Facebook page that he hopes the foot holds up during the game.

Once Kobe passes Chamberlain, just Michael Jordan (32,292), Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) are ahead of him on the prestigious list.
