If you’re a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and you were hoping to get a better look at Duke’s Jabari Parker during the NCAA Tournament, I’ve got some bad news for you.
In case you haven’t already heard, Parker and his Blue Devils were eliminated in the first round of the tournament earlier today after the Mercer Bears pulled off a stunning 78-71 victory in North Carolina.
After the game, Parker was understandably very emotional and struggled to answer the questions he was asked by reporters.
Parker did say that the loss “definitely” affected his future and his decision on whether to enter the NBA Draft in June, however, the 19-year-old didn’t elaborate on which way he is currently leaning.
Heading into Friday night’s game against the Washington Wizards, the Lakers are currently projected to receive the fifth pick in June and are said to have Parker at four on their draft board.
