Turns out the Royal Baby isn’t the only newsworthy birth this week.
The last time Jordan Farmar played for the Los Angeles Lakers, he was an unmarried 23-year-old with no kids. Three years later in his second stint with the purple and gold, Farmar is married and now the father of two daughters.
We shared Jordan’s wedding video with you last week – which includes dancing from Luke Walton, by the way – and mentioned that Famar’s wife Jill was expecting another daughter. Well, she’s here!
Kali Isabelle Farmar’s birth was announced via Farmar’s Instagram account, along with the caption, “What’s life REALLY about?!? Welcome to this crazy beautiful world!!!”
A big reason Farmar wanted to return to Los Angeles from Turkey was to be close to his family. Now, Farmar will be able to bring up his daughters at home in California.
As mentioned in the wedding video post, Farmar’s wife is also a pro-athlete. She played soccer at UCLA and then theĀ Chicago Red Stars in the MLS, so their daughters could very well have the genetic make-up to follow in their parents’ footsteps.
