Hopefully this won’t turn out to be a big deal…
According to Shams Charania from Yahoo Sports, Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball has a torn meniscus in his left knee. It’s currently unclear how long Ball will be out, but Charania states that the former number two overall pick in the draft will be available in time for training camp.

The fact that Ball will be ready to go by camp is good news for the Lakers, though it’s also disappointing to hear that the 20-year-old will miss time during the offseason, a time when players take time to work on their game and bodies and come back stronger in the fall.
Ball has been putting in work so far this summer, adding muscle to his body and meeting with Lakers president Magic Johnson once a week to study film.
Hopefully the injury won’t hold him back for too long.
Get well soon, Zo!
