Last night, Lamar Odom began to work his way back from a troubling time in his life by playing in his first professional basketball game in almost a year.
Odom signed with Spanish team Laboral Kutxa earlier this month and made his debut appearance on Thursday night.
Understandably, he was rusty.
According to ESPN, the two-time NBA champion played just six minutes and registered three fouls during his time on the court. The 2011 Sixth Man of the Year also grabbed two rebounds in his debut performance.
Hopefully, Lamar will be able to get his career back on track while playing overseas. If he can find his game over the coming weeks, it’s possible that Odom may be able to garner a training camp invite from an NBA team next season.
