The Lakers are set, right? Maybe not, according to Matt Barnes. He told TMZ that he’s still talking with the Lakers:

That’s interesting. Everyone assumed that they re-signed Devin Ebanks and were ready for the season. They currently have one roster spot, though they normally like to go through the season with only 14 players. Also, they will probably want to sign one – if not both – of their draft picks from June.

Andrew Goudelock‘s contract isn’t guaranteed til January, so he could be a candidate to be cut.

I would welcome Barnes back for the right cost; as much as I’d like to see Ebanks develop, Matt was very solid last season when healthy. He was shooting the ball great from deep and was always active on the boards.

We’ll see what happens.
