NFL this weekend, find some great info at

The Los Angeles Lakers aren’t the only professional North American sports team in action this weekend.

While the Lakers will play the Phoenix Suns on Friday and the New York Knicks on Sunday, with both games scheduled to be played at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles, the NFL and it’s teams are set compete, too.

As the online betting lines at show, there are a number of interesting match ups going on this weekend in the NFL.

Kobe Bryant’s favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, are in action against the Washington Redskins, while L.A.’s very own Rams are set to face off against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Oakland Raiders – L.A.’s former team – will go up against the Kansas City Chiefs, while the somewhat local San Diego Chargers will go head to head with the Carolina Panthers.

The Lakers are set to head out on their longest road trip of the season on Monday – they’ll be away from home for 7 games over a period 12 days – so they could certainly do with picking up two wins at home over the weekend.

It looks as if the Lakers will be without four players, though, with D’Angelo Russell, Nick Young, Tarik Black and Jose Calderon all currently sidelined with various injuries.

Still, if they can come out with two Ws against the Suns (6-16) and Knicks (12-10) thanks to some home cooking then the purple and gold will be able to come within 2 games of .500 at 12-14.

Heading out on a 7 game road trip at 10-16 could be demoralizing for this young, short-handed Lakers team, so they’ll definitely be looking to put a couple in the win column over the next few days.

However, when the Lakers aren’t playing, be sure to check out one of the NFL’s many intriguing match ups. Both sports are certain to be a lot of fun this weekend.
