This Kobe Bryant Mix Set To 2Pac’s “Pain” Is Pure Greatness

Kobe Bryant and 2Pac – it’s a match made in heaven.

Both are considered to be all-time greats in their respective professions, and both are West Coast guys even though they weren’t born on the best side.

2Pac was born in New York and moved to California in his late teens, much like Bryant who ended up in L.A. after being traded to the Lakers shortly after the 1996 NBA Draft.

Before that, Bryant lived in Philadelphia, where he was born and went to high school, though he also spent a large portion of his childhood in Italy.

However, despite not being born in the City of Angels, Bryant and 2Pac will forever be seen as guys who made their mark in California.

So, when a beautiful Kobe Bryant highlight reel that features all kinds of fancy footwork and in-your-face jumpers is paired with the smooth delivery of 2Pac’s legendary rhymes, you just know you’re going to get something kind of special.

And the icing on the cake? Pain, the song featured on this mix, was on the Above The Rim soundtrack.

It’s a match made in heaven.
