Say hello to the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Back in 1990, Byron Scott scored a dramatic game-winning three-pointer to defeat the San Antonio Spurs on the road.
And, as usual, Chick Hearn didn’t disappoint with his call of the final play of the game.
“Ball into Thompson, to Magic, Magic with the dribble, Magic looking, three seconds, Woolridge in deep, Scott for three to win it … Got it! Got it! Got it! The game is over! The Lakers win 115-114! Byron Scott, about a 25-footer for three points. The Lakers are going bezerk!”
Good times. Hopefully they’ll be more fun moments like this in the not too distant future, too.
