Byron Scott called in to the Dan Patrick Show today to talk a little basketball. The topics discussed included Kevin Love’s pending trade to Cleveland, Kobe Bryant’s competitiveness, Dr. Jerry Buss’ legacy, Julius Randle’s potential, and, of course, championships.
Scott also talked about dunking. The Lakers’ new coach said he could dunk a couple of years ago but doesn’t know whether he’d be able to throw down now.
Still, the 53-year-old seems more sure about being able to dunk next season than he does about the Lakers making the playoffs, so there’s that.
