VIDEO: Hornets forget which basket they’re defending, Kobe breaks away for open dunk

This was hilarious.

The Lakers came back from 25 points down last night, and then everything just seemed to go their way.

Like this play: all the players lined up in the backcourt to inbound the ball, then New Orleans Hornets seemed to get confused as to which basket they were defending, and Kobe Bryant just broke away from the pack and slammed it home.

Metta World Peace said on 710 ESPN today that the play wasn’t designed like that, it just happened due to the Hornets’ inexperience and Kobe’s quick thinking.

The Black Mamba strikes again.

What do you think?
