Jodie Meeks is having a great season. I mean, the guy looks completely different from last season.
We always knew that Meeks could shoot, though this year the 26-year-old is showing that he has quite an inside game, too.
Meeks was brilliant during Monday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He finished with 21 points on 8-for-16 shooting and played great defense on Damian Lillard, though Meeks’ best play of the night involved Nicolas Batum, who he just flat-out posterized.
Kent Bazemore found Meeks with the inbound pass – he’d later make the game-winning pass to Wesley Johnson, too – and Meeks took it inside and slammed it home over the outstretched arms of Batum.
Not bad for a 6’4″ guy who was only known for his outside shooting before this year.
