VIDEO: Julius Randle records 14 points, 3 assists versus Warriors [Summer League]

This was exciting to watch.

After getting his feet wet in his Summer League debut on Sunday, 19-year-old Julius Randle stepped it up a notch on Monday as the Lakers earned their first victory in Vegas against the Warriors.

Randle finished the night with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 blocked shot in 27 minutes, though the Kentucky product also amounted 5 turnovers as he tried to do a little too much near the end of the game.

Still, Randle’s handles were fun to watch, as were his aggressive drives to the basket.

The thing that really stands out about Randle is his desire to compete on every possession – be that on offense or defense – and just how much of a nightmare he is for the opposition.

Last night, Randle truly looked like a man among boys. It will be interesting to see if the seventh overall pick will be able to translate his aggressiveness to the NBA game, too.
