If there’s one thing Kobe Bryant could’ve done with more of last season, it was rest. Bryant averaged 42.5 minutes per game in the month of April until he tore his Achilles tendon versus the Golden State Warriors on April 12. Next season, while making a comeback from the Achilles surgery, the Black Mamba’s going to need more rest than ever before.

During an extensive interview with Jimmy Kimmel last night, Bryant revealed that he’s hoping to get more rest next season, and he expects the new additions of Nick Young and Wesley Johnson to step up and contribute to the team, which should in turn make his life easier.
